Renaissance Europe for me is one of the historical settings I find most appealing. The dawn of the 16th century, plus or minus 15 years, holds an incredible wealth of possibilities. Castles and knights in full plate armor have reached their zenith, and early firearms have progressed to include both rifled barrels and the complex wheellock firing mechanism. Occultism, hermeticism, alchemy, and even witchcraft flourish, while the Church remains a power as yet undivided by the Protestant Reformation. It is an era that sees DaVinci invent marvels of engineering, and the (re)discovery of the New World, with its limitless opportunities for exploration, discovery, and adventure.
Here I share my efforts at tailoring the rules of Mythras to this era. These are meant to work in conjunction with the house rules and other modifications posted here.
